about FEP

Florida Emergency Physicians, P.A., (FEP), originally formed in 1969, is one of the nation’s largest privately held group practices of Emergency Medicine. Today, FEP provides medical services to more than 350,000 patients seen in eight Emergency Departments located in the greater Orlando area. FEP is comprised of twenty eight Emergency Physician shareholders, all of whom are engaged “full-time” in the delivery of clinical services. FEP employs more than a hundred full-time emergency medicine physicians and mid-level practitioners.

FEP enjoys a well-earned reputation for quality and sophistication. However, one of FEP's most unique accomplishments is its remarkable tenure and stability with its hospital client, Florida Hospital. During FEP's thirty seven years tenure with the institution, Florida Hospital has expanded by acquiring and building additional campuses. FEP has grown as the Florida Hospital System has expanded and currently provides emergency medical care for eight Emergency Departments in four Central Florida counties: Orange, Seminole, Osceola, and Lake.
