As emergency medicine advances in the early 21st century, Florida Emergency Physicians stands out as the recognized leader in acute care. FEP is privileged to deliver emergency medical care to more than 350,000 patients a year within Florida Hospital in the Greater Orlando area. The American Hospital Association recognizes us as the largest emergency department system in the United States. Initiating cutting edge care in the emergency department with programs such as the Brain Attack Center or the immediate Cardiac Cath Lab intervention for patients with myocardial infarction have

contributed to US News & World Report's recognition of Florida Hospital as one of the best hospitals in America. Our Emergency Medicine Residency Program will train six residents per year starting July 1, 2008.
